The School Liaison Division provides law enforcement personnel to three school districts within Galveston and Harris County: Clear Creek, Texas City, and Dickinson. Deputies assigned to the division provide a close working relationship with students and staff on assigned campuses for the purpose of maintaining a quality educational environment which enhances the learning process. Each deputy undergoes training from an accredited academy which instructs and develops individuals to become aware of the intricacies of being attached to; school based law enforcement unit. The division plays a full role in the concept of "crime fighting", patrol, traffic enforcement, investigations, and juvenile law.
